Individual Academic Plan
Dear BMI Parents,
Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your child’s educational career for the 2011-2012 school year. We have successfully transitioned into a new school year, and look forward to continuing in that same pattern. With progress report time fast approaching, we would like to take this opportunity to explain how this process will work. In place of the 1st Nine Weeks Progress Report, you will receive an Individual Academic Plan specifically tailored to your child’s academic needs in each core subject. This plan has been created by your child’s teachers, based on his/her placement test results and their 2010-2011 Stanford 10 Achievement scores. These plans are designed to give you an outline of your child’s academic needs, and how those needs are being met at school. This plan will also provide you a detailed plan of action to follow at home as well. IAP’S will be emailed to you on Friday, September 23, 2011.
In order for this process to be successful, we need you to make certain that you have a valid email address on file with us here at the school. Your email account must be registered with us in the front office though our RenWeb system no later than Friday, September 16, 2011. The only way to receive your child’s IAP is through email. We are striving to become a paperless campus, and this is our first major effort to reach that goal. Please keep in mind that the computer lab in the cafeteria here at the school is always available for your use. Free email accounts can also be created by visiting the websites listed below. If you have any questions about this process please feel free to contact us, we are more than happy to answer any questions you may have.

Fall Festival

The countdown has begun for the annual Fall Festival. We will have carnival games, inflatable bouncer, face painting, music, cake walk, and many more activities! You will be able to purchase tasty food, shop novelty booths, and enter drawings to win prizes, purchase raffle tickets for theme baskets and many other fabulous items! Use this order form to purchase your pre-sale tickets, wristbands (the wristband includes unlimited carnival games and activities) and family food pack tickets to save time and money. The wristbands will not include food/booth items such as; popcorn booth, snow cone booth and food/drink booth.
To purchase your pre-sale items return this order form with your payment in a closed envelope to your homeroom teacher by October 26, 2011. All orders will be delivered to the homeroom teachers on October 28, 2011.
